Anecdotally and in the case law, spoliation claims appear to be on the rise in Washington. Initially, the case law on spoliation in Washington was noted for its scarcity. However, there have been several published decisions in the last ten to fifteen years which have helped fill out its contours.

Every year in the fall, WDTL hosts the annual Defender Donut Dash at Seattle’s Seward Park. Last Fall, the WDTL Eastside Members supported Socktober Dash, a local charity race, which occurred on the same day as the Defender Dash. Teen & Kid Closet is a local Spokane charity that hosts Socktober Dash.
