2021 Golden Coat Drive

Join us in collecting new and gently used coats and cold weather accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, socks).
THE CHALLENGE IS ON!
WDTL's 2021 COAT DRIVE
WHAT: A diehard, fierce, STATEWIDE competition between firms and individuals to collect the most new and gently used coats and cold weather accessories (gloves, hats, scarves, socks). All collected items will be donated to organizations in your communities which will provide them free of charge to individuals in need. [1] The winner earns the right to display the coveted Golden Coat Award in their office, not to mention bragging rights. And everyone who participates – also winners in our book - will feel awesome for helping others.
WHEN: November 1, 2021 – November 30, 2021.
There are two more coat pickup dates: Nov. 23 & Nov. 30, 2021.
HOW: To arrange pick up or to volunteer as an organization/firm captain, please contact Jade Park at jadeeugenie92@gmail.com or Grace Adams at grace.adams@physiciandirectservices.net in the greater Seattle-Olympia area or Alison Turnbull at aturnbull@ks-lawyers.com in the greater Spokane area. Captains will advertise the drive within their organization/firm, provide a collection point (i.e., lunchroom or an office), and contact us to arrange pick up. Let's do this!
[1] In Seattle, collected items will be donated to Mary's Place (marysplaceseattle.org). In Spokane, items will be donated to Cross Walk Youth Shelter (voaspokane.org). For other areas – we will find a perfect place!
