This is a one-hour course designed to help participants understand the technical issues surrounding the usefulness and validity of drug and alcohol testing in the determination of the degree of impairment in transportation, industrial, and premises liability accidents. The information within the course will provide fundamentals of drug and alcohol toxicology and descriptors of degree of impairment. Within the course, actual testing, outcomes, and case studies will be examined.

Dr. Carla Kinslow, Director of the Rimkus Toxicology and Food Safety Division, has more than 29 years of biomedical, regulatory, and environmental experience.
