March Madness is coming to Spokane and the WDTL Developing Lawyers Committee invites you to join the action! 
 

Join forensic economist and New Core Sponsor Ashleigh Lansing of Sound Forensic Economics for a presentation and Q&A regarding Economic Damages in Washington State.

Ms. Lansing will discuss the intricacies of assessing economic damages in civil litigation, explaining key methodologies and assumptions.

She will discuss earning capacity, mitigating earnings, future medical costs, wrongful death claims, and present value.

Ms. Lansing will also highlight case law and statutory law relevant to damages calculations.

Following the presentation, stay for networking with elevated pub fare and craft beers.

Ashleigh Lansing, CPA, ABV, MAcc offers expertise in forensic economics. She has experience testifying as an economic expert witness and consults on a variety of civil matters providing litigation support.

Ms. Lansing is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an accreditation to perform business valuations. She earned a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Washington after graduating Cum Laude from UW with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She has presented forensic economic seminars to law firms in the greater Seattle area to assist attorneys in understanding the role of the expert witness. Her forensic economic career began at Mueller & Partin in 2015 as an Associate Forensic Economist. She created her own firm in 2020 and began working as an expert witness.
