Ethical Dilemmas in a Day in the Life of a Civil Defense Litigator
Join us via Zoom for a lively discussion with panelists Colin Folawn, and Nellie Q. Barnard of Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt, as we explore another Day in the Life of a Litigator.
The associate is now a junior partner in an Insurance Defense firm. We will be focusing on new issues (with the last two years of programs in mind).
- We will cover common ethical issues that arise in a litigation practice (focusing on defense).
- Analyze the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct and other authority implicated in these situations.
- Provide some practical guidance for addressing such issues of case law and opinion updates, techniques on avoiding ethical dilemmas, responding to a grievance, and conflicts.

This format has been a great success so our panelists are bringing it back with new scenarios, rules, and advice. As one attendee said, “the best Ethics CLE around.”
