Ann T. Marshall, Esq., joined JAMS as a full-time mediator after more than 25 years as a trial lawyer. Ms. Marshall began her legal career in criminal defense. In her subsequent commercial litigation practice, spanning more than 20 years, she represented multiple Fortune 100 companies, working in conjunction with their inhouse legal teams, as well as individuals rarely if ever involved in litigation. She handled complex, multi-party cases through trial and appeal in state and federal courts. Date(s): June 11, 2020
Time: 3:30 PM PST - 5:00 PM PST
WDTL is working to support our membership as we grapple with the challenges caused by COVID-19. To respond to the many proposed rule changes and suggested updates in Court operations across the State, WDTL is creating a COVID-19 task force.
We are seeking members interested in participating in our discussions with the Courts and Washington State Association for Justice, as well as those interested in developing programming or publications relating or resulting from COVID-19. We are specifically seeking members from across the State and across different practice areas.
Our immediate need is for members to participate in responding to WSAJ proposals relating to remote depositions, streamlining jury trials, and incentivizing six-person juries and modification of CR 68. We are on a short timeline for response, so we have scheduled an open meeting for those interested in serving on the task force.
