WDTL'S 2020 Holiday Drive Spotlight:
Create Snack Bags for EFP

COVID-19 has created many challenges and barriers throughout society, including participating in charitable events.  The non-profit organizations that WDTL has supported in the past during the holidays have limited donations to only monetary contributions. However, the Emergency Feeding Program, a Washington based non-profit organization, needs, and still accepts, non-monetary donations.  If you like to color and if you would you like to bring a smile to a child this holiday season, then please join WDTL in its continued support of EFP and 2020 holiday drive for children's snack bags.  (And, If making snack bags is not your “bag”, EFP would be grateful for your monetary donations to help fill the bags.  Donate Here)

EFP distributes over 9,000 snack bags for children to schools, churches, and agencies throughout King County each month and the need is rising.  Each child's snack bag from EFP comes with a simple design, cartoon, personal message and/or riddle.  Since the outbreak of COVID-19, WDTL members have designed and donated over 2,000 children's snack bags for EFP.

WDTL's holiday drive for children's snack bags will run November 19 - December 15, 2020.  Completed bags must be picked up no later than December 15.

Create bag designs at home, at your convenience.  Involve your family and children.  All you need are some colored pencils, crayons, markers and a little imagination.  You can even color outside the lines!  Color 5, 10, or 100 bags. Challenge your firm to participate.  And, be sure to send us photos of your creations.
