 A diehard, fierce, STATEWIDE competition between firms and individuals to collect the most new and gently used coats.

The WDTL's 2018 Coat Drive

WHO:      All WDTL members, core sponsors, law firms, friends
WHAT:    A diehard, fierce, STATEWIDE competition between firms and individuals to collect the most new and gently used coats.  (Cold weather accessories, including socks, also collected but will not count toward the tally.)  All collected items will be donated to organizations in your local community which will provide them free of charge to individuals in need.*  Winner (collector of the most coats) earns the right display the coveted Golden Coat Award in their office, not to mention bragging rights.  And everyone who participates – also winners in our book - will feel awesome for helping others.
WHEN:   October 8, 2018 to November 12, 2018.  Pickups on November 13, 2018. 
HOW:      Please contact Heather Proudfoot at carr8025@gmail.com to arrange pick up or to volunteer as an organization/firm captain.  Captains will advertise the drive within their organization/firm, provide a collection point (i.e., lunchroom or an office), count the COATS collected, and contact us to arrange pick up. 
*In Seattle, collected items donated to Wellspring Family Services.  In Spokane, items will be donated to Crosswalk.  Anywhere else – we will find a perfect place!
